Medicaid policy has been updated in the following sections of the Medicaid Eligibility Manual: 

June 2024

M403 - Processing Applications For Medical Benefits - Updated due to Final Rule requirements - Stremlining the Medicaid, Children's Health Insurance Program, and Basic Health Program Application, Eligibility Determination, Enrollment and Renewal Processes.  Interviews for Long Germ Care programs no longer require interviews.  The rule also mandates that reasonable opportunity periods (ROP's) must be provided with no limit to the number of ROP's that an individual may receive.
